Good advice, Co'... Kris, you might try the singing below the mike thing before the set if you're going to try it at all... Different people's voices resonate differently, and your position in relation to the mike can sometimes bring out things in your voice that you don't normally hear... For example, when I sing slightly below the mike, I find that my voice sounds a lot more nasal, because if my mouth is just below the mike, then my nose is just above it, and that nasal, "heady" resonance comes out more through the mike...
