I just pulled my 2008 calendar which has yet to be transcribed and got the answer -- November 15th, which would have been the shanty sing, was the Gordon Bok house concert at Sinsull's. There wasn't a specific thread for that house concert, but comments are on this thread -- S. Portland House Concerts 2008 The concert was prebooked solid. I remember it as a sensational concert. No wonder we tried to reschedule the shanty sing on Nov. 22. But there was the jazz 80th birthday concert (Larry Garland's? I don't know) on that date, so November just didn't work out. Too many people had plans for the second Saturday of the month. Linn
