if i had to ignore intolerance i would have to ignore you first and foremost and i did not this time to my regret. usually i do not read your posts. the swastika of course is a common design in several cultures. it is a design that people will spontaneously doodle. it should of course be outlawed, except perhaps where it has been in continuous use, but even then i would recommend against it. likewise the nazi salute, which you will see the exact version of (I will say i have not seen it for several years, perhaps because of my shreaking against it) in Catholic churches called a "blessing." Even after you tell them it is the exact same gesture as the nazi salute, they would do it again. i get not seeing the connection in another context, but once someone tells you, stop doing it period. now, just to preempt you, not everyone who flew the southern flag was a racist. there were strong family memories attached to it, great grandaddy etc...not everyone who whistles dixie is a racist...
