I learnt this song, to be sung during a school trip to Lourdes in the early fifties and the chorus still remains with me. I echo what Joe said about Lourdes. The real miracle of Lourdes for me was the transformation of my late brother in law from someone who was sinking into his shell because of a crippling disability to an outgoing friendly and loving person who came to terms with his condition and used it to help others. In fact he found pea d at Lourdes and never went expecting some miracle cure.
