Oh. My. God. It never ceases to astonish me being shown the depths of ignorance my fellow Americans are likely to exhibit. It makes me wonder if a partial result of the information revolution is that it's easier for nutcases and conspiracy paranoids to get their "information" and "facts" out to an ever expanding audience. That more people glean their "information" from undocumented sources with dubious trustworthiness (or grip on reality) coupled with a seeming trend for not teaching critical thinking scares the bejabbers out of me. That some government agents/agencies lie ≠ ALLgovernment agents/agencies lie gets completely lost on people who think an "argument" means a fight, rather than a line of reasoning, and LOLcats are the height of their philosophical thinking.
