One does not learn the Hran. One learns the music and applies innate skills and abilities to enhance and, at times, lead the pieces and songs being played. It's akin to one's heartbeat being manipulated by one's mind to produce a joy in one's spirit and share it with all. Of course, the fucker's that just bang a drum incessantly and loudly and think they are contributing ruin it for those who can actually play it. Séan McCann can play. Ditto.
