I have known for some time that Jerry was very ill and have been keeping in touch with Clarice on F/B. As Roy says, she loved and cared for him with such absolute devotion through all the dark times.
Jerry was a "one-of)and his contribution to the folk world should never be forgotten. It was he who arranged my first trip over to the USA and I will never forget his help and kindness. We also had many an evening at our place when he came over to the UK with Ralph and also with Bobby McMullen.

Malc and I will miss him.
