Half the CC setup done (and foto's posted); also finished unloading trailer except for ramp, just cuz I was out there anyway-- moving my car to the 2nd driveway. Topped out today at 2666 steps, but I'm sick. Also a lot of it was lifting.

But the thermostat got changed today, which may have resolved the inadequate cooling of the AC. I'll know tomorrow, when sunlight returns and bakes the roof. Worth every penny! I got the non-programmable digital version-- anyone in residence walks by it a million times a day. Easy to adjust if needed, and this is easy enough to use even if we let someone else use the house in our absence, which is part of the plan, starting with family and close friends. (That programmable one was not only busted, but a PIA!)

And I folded a lot of laundry, sorting it by where it goes tomorrow. Another 800 steps of vacuuming, maybe 200 of dusting. Then outdoor chairs to place, since the first hours of CC for kids should be warm and sunny (according to the latest crazy forecast). I boarded foster dog Newbie for the occasion, who BTW looks just like Gomer Pyle's Sgt. Carter when he's chagrined. ;-) Down to the last wrinkle!
