' If I'd stayed at home every time I had a cold when I was a teacher, I'd have been sacked.' at last! we've tracked down the bugger who spread it round the staffroom! i find antibiotics very effective against infected throats that seem to come in the wake of colds flus etc. still if you still went to work - it couldn't have been that bad steve. quite a lot of people die every year from colds and flu. don't die!
