My dad had a 1955 split-screen Moggie Minor - first car in our family. Built like a shithouse door and never let us down. We trooped it up to the Lakes from Lancaster every Sunday - over Wrynose and Hardknot passes and all sorts of climbs and in all sorts of weathers. My abiding memories of it are the flip-out indicators and the dip switch on the floor, next to the clutch. Sorry it doesn't qualify for entry into the bad car thread. My own cars have been: a Beetle 1302S, a succession of Audi models and a Volvo 240 - the latter still running - while Madame has driven a Nissan Cherry, a Golf and, currently a 2-litre Audi A4. None of these qualify either...
