Probably not the place for this discussion, but even if the choice of the name Lynched had been a deliberate decision to refer to specific horrific crimes (eg the hanging of black people in the US), finding the name objectionable is surely tantamount to saying "I don't like to be reminded that bad things happen". A reference to a horrific thing is not the same as an endorsement of that horrific thing; it could be said to be a gesture of solidarity towards the victims of that horrific thing.
