I just had to look up the proper medical term before I nip up to see the Dr about a nasty sweat rash.

Thing is, will Dr appreciate the effort and politeness,
or just think I'm a pretentious numpty for not using the manly everyday slang name for it ?

We all have to present awkward ailments to medics, parts of the body with good robust common useage anglo saxon names.

But does everyone feel self concious about being over polite to Drs
and using the medical book terminology ?
