LIVING WITH THE BLUES (what I can remember from the top of my head anyway)
From my childhood,
T' where I am now
I won't have to worry
I'll get by somehow
Mama had 'em; daddy had 'em too
I've been living with the blues
My guitar has had to be my pillow
Hollow logs have even been my bed
Blues my only companion
Singin' for my meat and bread
But I'll tell ya
When I begin to roam
Poor old me, I come from a broken home
Mama had 'em; daddy had 'em too
I've been living with the blues
Rocks have been my pillow
Cold ground has been my bed
Use the starlight as my blanket
And the moonlight as my spread
Ill tell ya something
Lord, it ain't no joke
Wouldn't trade my past life
For my weight in gold
Mama had 'em; daddy had 'em too
I've been living with the blues
Hope that's some help. I post the rest if I can remember it
