Kendall ... as we age, and we're doing that every day, some of our body skills diminish. That's the nature of the beast! My precious father, a lifetime carpenter, lived to 95. As I cared for him and observed his increasing pain and reduced abilities, I marveled at his attitude ... "Growing old ain't for sissies" and ... "Mina raakastaan sinua." (that's Finnish for "I love you".) Us oldsters have a responsibility to those who follow us (like it or not) to "point the way." As we learned from our fathers just how best to accept the challenges, as well as to challenge the challenges, we are placed in an enviable position of saying something like: "Life's a bitch ... I hurt ... I can no longer do this or that ... but DAMNIT ... I can still do this I want to show YOU how to enjoy it! Sent with love and respect ... your friend ... bob(deckman)nelson
