I have up-dated three computers, from Win 8.1 to Win 10, without any problems. The biggest problems I have experienced, so far, have been with my new MS Surface Pro 4 - which came with Win 10 pro pre-loaded! Those problems seem to have been fixed (fingers crossed!) after the most recent up-dates. Microsoft have publicly apologised, to customers who have bought the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book, for the problems they have experienced.
