I don't see this as a pirating. I see it as an opportunity to apply an antiracism training tool already made available online. Since the places I'll use it tend not to be online for streaming the $1.99 Amazon option, I need a copy I can use in workshops. To me it's a justice issue that the History Channel has failed to make an item of Black History openly stated in the program as intended for education, accessible. I have no commercial benefit from having a copy I can use as intended. I spent the afternoon photographing a slide show out of the replay on my dvr and next I'll take an mp3 of the narration. But since all the images are fuzzy vintage stills and film, I'd much prefer to teach ftom a copy of it as produced!
