This report seems to indicate that 35 cases of microcephaly were reported in Brazil in 2015, but it's unclear. This NPR report speaks of thousands of cases in Brazil, but only a few were Zika-related. And then there's the question whether the appropriate cure in every case is abortion. I'd still contend that open discussion of the entire issue is necessary, without finger-pointing. -Joe-
