Hi Kendal Sorry to hear about your current situation. I have gone along a very similar line to you. I had cancer of the larynx some 20 years ago. After terms of Radio Therapy and Chemo I was announced clear. Since then I have had at different times various parts of my body affected by skin cancer. I have had them cut out by excision , and by Cryosurgery. Recently I had one on my shin bone and this required excision and then skin graft because of the difficulty in being able to stitch the wound. After some problems that has now healed well. I occasionally have some slight dizziness , usually when I am reading. Since my first bout of cancer I have regular check-ups every six months or so. Squamous and basal cell cancer are very slow growing which why six month intervals do suffice. My wife and I do keep regular checks and on occasions have been to the doctor if we feel something needs checking out. I haven't had body scans but "manual" checks by the dermatologist. At the moment I feel very well and I hope my situation helps you in showing that you can beat the " Big C" Kind regards Mike
