Perhaps one of you clever people could help me on this one: I am trying to transpose a song that has a spoken line in the middle, in rhythm. I can express it in abc and pdf by putting [K: clef=P] before the line and by putting ^ before each spoken note, but when I create the midi, the midi wants to play that note on a musical pitch, which is not what I want. Is there anyway of telling the midi to change in mid-midi, so to speak. Here is one verse of the song that is giving me grief: X:1 T:I was there a-watching them M:4/4 L:1/4 K:A A>B c/A/ F/E/|AAA2|A>B c/c/ c/c/|BBB2|[K: clef=P][P:Spoken][L:1/4]^A^A/^A/ ^A/^A^A/| w:I'm a co-pper and I know my beat. But I've got a ti-cker as is worth six quid, and I was watch-ing all the time. Any help would be appreciated. Tradsinger
