Just to confuse the authorship issue a bit more - Norman Blake does indeed have a recording of Platonia The Pride Of The Plains on his 1998 Shanachie CD, Chattanooga Sugar Babe, He lists the song as Traditional and his source as Wilf Carter (Montana Slim). Regards, John
