Wednesday 27th April at 8.00pm The Westgate Chapel, 92a High Street, Lewes, East Sussex BN7 1XH. Folk In The Chapel presents A MULTIMEDIA SHOW BOB COPPER: "A GENTLEMAN OF HIGH RENOWN" Click here to see a poster. Vic & Tina Smith worked with Bob Copper over 35 years on a variety of projects – radio and television programmes, books, magazine articles, contacts through folk clubs, concerts, festivals singarounds as well as other times spent in his company The show includes stories, video clips, recordings, extracts from radio programmes, photos and other items and was devised as a tribute to the man to mark the centenary of his birth. The Show lasts 90 minutes will be presented with an interval. We have been informed that members of The Copper Family will be there on the evening..... which is going to be pretty scary for us. I suppose we may be able to prevail on them for a song at the end - provided they are happy about what we have said about their iconic relative.
