When I got married - back in the '60s, we had a simple church ceremony then went back to my in-laws' house for a bite to eat and to cut the cake - just family and a few friends. I played boogie-woogie piano duets with the best man - and that was it! And a natural burial ground and a cardboard box for me - overlooked by Jill, the windmill on Clayton Down where I work as a volunteer steward.
