Warp Speed, while fictional, has a strong sense of credibility to it. Warp 1 is breaking the light barrier, so that's the speed of light. Warp 10 is the theoretical barrier. Beyond Warp 10, one starts to go backwards in time. So, then you get into the time-space continuum and all that, and it gets hard to know what's fact and what's fiction. Made for some good movies and TV show, though.... -Joe-
