This chap has produced an exhaustive study into Jesus... or, more precisely, the myth of Jesus. He has even applied science -i.e.maths - to the question of the likelihood that Jesus even existed. No, as long as academics keep looking in to the matter, the discussion of "religious disagreements" ( as Joe puts it!) should certainly not be avoided. No matter how uncomfortable it might make certain posters feel.
