Last night 2nd August we had a huge thunderstorm right above our wee town in the small hours of the morning- - -everyone was woken by ginormous flashes then forked lightning, and immediately a huge house-shaking thunderclap There was a torrential downpour too - but the storm- the storm seemed to be fixed right above us for a looong time! My dog leapt onto the bed and straight under the duvet----the thunder and lightning just would not move away or diminish! End of the world type stuff - - --
