One of my favourite club performers, Jez writes stunning materiel from his own idiosycratic and very regional veiwpoint.
Check out his songs Bait Up & The Crake in the Morning. His best album IMO is Tenterhooks on which the above two songs feature.
Don't miss the chance to see and hear him perform. As alison says you may have some trouble with his accent (when he's talking) but I've never been disappointed in the many times I've seen him either alone or with the band.
Personally I prefer his solo performances but that's because I like his humour and there's more of that when he's on his own.
