Just come home tonight from a Martin Simpson gig ...this was his "final" (pre-encore) song and it was simply stupendous. Martin's singing these days is truly amazing, and his intricate , rippling guitar accompaniment om this song was awe-inspiring. Unfortunately his only recording of the song so far AFAIK is on vinyl, on his 1981 album "Special Agent". Here's hoping he sees fit to do a reprise one of these days.
