And, as matter of fact, my mind has been changed on quite a few things by debates on forums and I've often been obliged to look things up in order to ensure that I don't make a complete arse of myself. In other words, there is the potential here for learning. Most often the !earning curve for me will be in threads in which I'm not very active. So it's a pretty pig-headed thing to say that "you won't change anyone's mind anyway." You can, and maybe you will, and you may alter some perspectives while you're at it, or even have your own altered.
