The way things are in the US today makes me think of a phrase my aunt used to use: "All the world is crazy but for me and thee, and sometimes I wonder about thee" I'm not sure of the source - her Quaker father? - but I'm right up there in thinking most of the world must have some degree of pathology for things to be as they are. Mass paranoia, narcissism, megalomania, and aggression in excess all seem to be growing trends. I'm likely undiagnosed as a caffeine addict.* Does enjoying accordions, banjos and sopranos qualify as a mental health issue? Joanne in Cleveland * an addiction that's not always so funny: recently found out that my high intake of tea as my only hydration contributed to agonizing muscle cramps.
