I am finding that the new vehicle is a good choice as far as the insurance company is concerned as well - the little lemon HHR I was driving cost more than the pickup I drove before, yet this 2012 SUV costs $35 less a month to insure. It's safer and costs less because of it.

Yesterday I took the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood and we visited some of our favorite trees. The pecans haven't started dropping much yet, but in a couple of more weeks we should find plenty to both munch and pick up for home consumption. (The dogs eat them shell and all).

We all enjoy this time of year.
