I am very sad to hear of Bobby Vee's passing. He was my first childhood crush. I was only about 8 years old when I heard the song
"Rubber Ball" on the radio. I loved the song and would always sing along. Then I saw the album in a shop where my mom was shopping at and begged her to buy it for me. I hadn't seen a picture of him before that and I had such a little girl's crush on Bobby. I thought he was so cute and to this day, I still have that album.
I had read somewhere a few years ago of his declining health and just hoped he would get better with treatments he was getting.
My condolences go to his sons and friends. I shed tears for you Bobby in hearing this sad news. RIP, Bobby Vee.
