...or to quote myself from above, which you didn't see: Poetry, not songs, or at least not the sort Dick likes, inspire thoughts and feelings in those who hear it. You can't explain what it means, when it means something different to everyone who hears it. They will never get it, then will attempt to make you feel stupid because of their lack of understanding. I won't own someone else's cluelessness, especially when it's because I don't think they really want to understand.
