Joe Offer BS: The election results show (153* d) RE: BS: The election results show 10 Nov 16

That's true, Bruce. This is a big chance for the Republicans. If they succeed, then we all will be better off. I contend that President Obama would have accomplished much more, if only the Republicans had not worked so hard to undermine his every action. I think that it is best for the Democrats to avoid trying to sabotage Republican efforts. I predict that their efforts will fail.

There are certain Trump proposals that we can not allow, because they our violations of basic human justice. we cannot allow the mass deportation of 11 million immigrants, especially those who have children who have never lived outside the United States. Those who have lived in the United States for over a decade, should certainly not be ripped out of their homes and sent to a country they no longer know.

And since we have participated in the war in Syria and Iraq and Afghanistan, we can't turn a blind eye to refugees from those wars.

As for Obamacare, I think most people believe that it needs to be fixed. The Democrats work too hard to satisfy the Republicans when they designed Obamacare, and that caused too many unworkable aspects. Now it is the responsibility of the Republicans to fix it. They cannot get away with simply repeating a program that gives health insurance to 20 million Americans. It's time for the Republicans to put up or shut up now.
