Beaver: Clearing floor space seems a good goal! I am back after about 12 days in Quebec. The big 50th anniversary of the Yellow Door Coffee House de-cluttered a great deal of energy but the entire three day weekend was an incredible treat. three generations of musicians and us fringe folk - the young musicians are dynamic. And the first gen gave the third a lot to think about! There were 3 youngsters sitting on stage with mouths agape as Chris Rawlings did Pearl River Turnaround! What a treat Many of us still conversing/processing via FB. I went to the mill for a few days and managed two glaze firings, threw a few pots, trimmed them and left to dry. There will be a bisque load when I go back in a couple weeks and at least one more glaze load. Not much organizing - too tired and then the cold.... Left laundry and other stuff in the city as I had planned to go back but energy level said NO! When I saw expected snow for today, I quickly left yesterday - pots trimmed, dishes washed - what more needs to be done? Arrived about 5 pm, unloaded car, found freezer in fridge non-functional; the fridg working, and today the freezer also??? Put food outside where it is COLD and will cook that which thawed - tomorrow. Today was a day of rest other than trying to get the cover back on the fire wood. Partly successful. did not want 8 inches of snow on it! Some stuff put away, some not. Tomorrow I will wake with energy - she says hopefully. So glad I brought in lots of wood before leaving!!
