Boy, I dunno. The more I look into the story of John A. Stone, the less I know. I still don't know if I believe that Bowers and Stone are one and the same person, or that Stone committed suicide. And I haven't come across anything about the Sierra Nevada Rangers, other than what is posted above. If you come up with more, please post it here in this thread. -Joe-
