Stilly River Sage Yet More Clutter's Last Stand - 2016 (374* d) RE: Yet More Clutter's Last Stand - 2016 23 Nov 16

Thanksgiving is tomorrow, so I've worked to process garden produce and have it out of the way. Tonight I cooked all of the store-bought sweet potatoes for two casseroles - one for my house tomorrow, and one to take to a friend the next day.

The turkey will go into brine before I go to bed. We do dinner at normal dinner time, so I'll have most of the day for baking rolls, getting the veggies set to roast, etc. With all of the concurrent baking needs, I may get the roaster oven out of the pantry (it does a great turkey, but it's quite fast, so I have to pay attention).

I'm ready to assemble another lasagna tomorrow morning; the kitchen is clean and I don't feel like cleaning it again before I go to bed. That will go into the freezer, and some more tomatoes will go into another batch of relish. And I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with all of the sweet potatoes I expect to dig out of the garden this weekend. Turns out I had a bumper crop. I'll send some leftovers home with each person who comes to dinner tomorrow.

After the holiday activities I'll work on the usual mix of seasonal and declutter projects. Also, on various sites I've read about lots of people getting back to their sewing and knitting and such - my craft room is ready to go, now I need to plant my butt in the chair at the sewing machine and get to work.
