Leeneia, you have to see that in context: Eric Idle was one of the wonderful totally off-the-wall comedy group that made up the "Monty Python" team , so you need to see it in terms of the sort of comedy that was around in the the UK in the late 1960s/early 1970s, long before anyone ever coined the term "political correctness" which has sanitised so much of what anyone can now say. There wasn't much of it about then, but we had some of the best comedy programmes ever in that era. You think he needs to "man up": I think you need to " lighten up"!
