Hi everyone

I'm Emma, Michael's wife and I came across this thread by chance and am touched by your kindness and comments. It's been almost three months since Michael passed away. I miss him terribly and particularly his determination and pedantry to get to the real truth, as he saw it. It didn't always matter who was right just that it was discussed, he loved pitting his wits intellectually against anyone. He loved Mudcat and although I didn't ever read or see any of his postings in here I knew he was passionate about the detail and would sit for hours typing away and to-ing and fro-ing about most topics.
I remember whenever there were any comments about his work or fine repuation as a writer, or his You Tube videos, his face would light up with pride and so would mine. Pride that he chose me, pride I was good enough to share his life, and pride because he was the most wondeful man any girl could have. I was the lucky one. His music will live on, so will his love of people and life.
