Younger participants seem to have less interest in going to "the club" every week which means that they are less visible to the older participants. Where I do see young (under 30) activity the numbers are a lot lower than in the glory days of the 60s revival. In particular the suburban clubs, where they still survive, are definitely the preserve of the SAGA generation. 40 years ago there would have been dozens of 6th formers and students in each.
