I sadly neglected to mention that Catherine Talty had recently died, but the ITMA website does actually give the correct information: "Catherine Talty (née Moroney) was born three weeks before the 1916 Easter Rising outside Mullagh, west Clare. It was here she was to spend 100 years until her passing in October 2016. A fine singer and composer of songs including 'The Hills of Coore', Catherine was recorded extensively by the Clare Oral History and Folklore Group. She was a regular visitor to the famous weekly session at Gleeson's Pub in Coore frequenting with, among others, Junior Crehan, PJ Crotty and Kitty Hayes. The pub closed its doors for the last time in 2004." Matthew
