Thank you for your well written response. You took my comment as intended. I'm not a fan of Mr. Peltier but it's worth listening to other points of view. Jesse James was evoked in my mind by the music and songs about him, and he was no angel. There's a well written book about him "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" that was used as the source material for the film with Brad Pitt. Much of the book is from the viewpoint of Robert Ford and there's an interesting scene where he hears the famous song "heroizing" Jesse James and describing Ford as "the dirty little coward that shot Mr. Howard".
