2016 continues to be a hard year for musicians. The famed Alexandrov Ensemble has lost about three score of members in one unhappy fell swoop. As an admirer of Red Army Chorus performances I am sorry to learn of this. I am sure the Chorus as an institution will survive, but this is a hard blow.
