I'm in possession of a very nice washboard that an amazing bloke at Bodmin folk club made for my then small son 25 years ago. My son abandoned it and left it with me, but he now has his own lovely son, 15 months old, who, you never know, may one day become a washboard aficionado. I'll make sure that he's very nifty with it before I let him loose! Can't remember the bloke's name now. If he's still around he'll be very old.
