Claire Hastings - who followed Robyn (with a y) Stapleton as Scots Young Trad Musician of the year. And a a big aye-aye to Iona Fyfe, Natalie Chalmers and other great singers from teh NE of Scotland. We are blessed with so many good young musicians up here in Scotland, tho some are now pushing 30! Siobhan Miller, Jeana Leslie, Anna Massie, Jenn Butterworth, Laura McColl, Jenna and Bethany Reid, Maireread Green Let's then add all the various members of Breabach, Rura, Paul McKenna Band, adn any else I've missed.. We are just so extraordinarily lucky to have all these wonderful young musicians in Scotland (most of whom were actually of the female variety perchance!)
