The version in the DT, although attributed to Blind Lemon Jefferson, is missing some of his verses: ONE DIME BLUES As recorded by Blind Lemon Jefferson, 1927. I'm broke and I ain't got a dime. (3x) Tryin' to be a sportin' lad. I bought that Morning News. (3x) Then I bought a cigar too. * Pronounced kay-ro. Other versions were recorded by Lead Belly and by Woody Guthrie. Etta Baker recorded an instrumental version.
