Kendall, The 'Blind Fiddler' in the 'Bounty' was played by Barry Dransfield who, with his brother Robin, was a major star of the UK Folk Revival in the '70's. He is not blind, but he is a brilliant fiddler, celloist, guitarist and singer. I saw him perform two or three years ago at the Royal Oak pub in Grimsby, England and he was simply stunning. Anyone out there know what Barry's doing now????

And yes, we sang the song at school and it's title in the book was 'O Waly Waly' JBTFS
