Tell you what, though. I watched the Spurs match on BT Sport last night. The Dele Alli tackle was the worst foul I've ever seen. I'm a big fan of his and I think he's the future of English football, but what the hell did he think he was doing! If you see it in slow motion it gives you an attack of the horrors. He deserves a lot more than whatever the statutory punishment is for a sending-off. I hope he learns from it like Beckham learned from his reaction to the provocation of the ruthless git who now manages Atletico Madrid. Thread drift and rant, but at least it's still footie!
