Oh dear, I was sort of expecting this. Del had become frail in recent years. Another of the all time greats gone to join Silvo, Disley, Felton etc. I knew Del ever since he first started in the 60s, and he played at all the clubs I've been involved with, from Surbiton in the early days to more recent stints in Coventry. Never a duff gig and always made me laugh. "I don't mind quiet audiences....unless they're moving towards me!" Sleep well Del.
