I don't care for broccoli, never ate it as a child.....I don't think it had been invented then, although we had cabbage, cauli, and Brussels sprouts which I lived and still do. Thinly sliced, fired up with chopped bacon......yummo......makes me slaver just thinking about it......

But broccoli, no. Never. Not ever. I cooked and reluctantly ate it for years because I thought Himself liked it until he told me he could take it or leave it, so since that day not a sprig of broccoli has crossed the threshold of this house.
