Ever heard the old adage "Laws are made by lawyers" ? In the past, a lot of MPs were barristers (QCs & Silks even), because they could schedule their legal work in the Inns, even High Court appearances, in the morning and turn up in the House pm. Or trade their votes one for one with another party and continue being a shark. But it has to be said (by newspaper editors past & present) that being an editor is a full time job. Even ignoring the number of hours needed, the "times" when the hours are needed is 24/7. Therefore one might say (putting my coat on, rushing to the exit, before the groans): There's Osborne every minute!
